Victorian Innocence
This project was primarily inspired on the painting of Lawrence Alma-Tadema’s The Roses of Heliogabalus. With the predominantly pink color scheme, I wanted to refer to the romanticized naivety of the idealized women during the Victorian era. To express this I used soft, light materials and some cheeky solutions to break the rigid lines with some blooming nature.
Picture in the sketchbook is a detail from The Roses of Heliogabalus by Lawurence Alma-Tadema.
